Little bit of bar room wisdom for you. I hope you take the time to check out some of my creative efforts and find something of interest. My name is Andrew Ward an English artist from Southern UK, Hampshire to be exact. Rowlands Castle to be even more exacter (is that a word?). As an artist I strive to be as eclectic as possible, probably down to my attention span, which apparently rivals a fruit fly. Most of my artwork leans to the contemporary and possibly odd, other pieces, especially my photography borrows heavily from a minimal style of lighting, combining painting sculpture and photography. Truthfully though, painting, photography and sculpting brings me pleasure and hopefully pleases others. I do not suffer for my art, unless you count the countless hours rubbing down fibreglass, oh and that time I nearly took my leg off with an errant angle grinder, (pictures to follow)

To my mind, most creative people create not only because of the pleasure in the process, but for some form of kudos. Not basking in the glory so much as having another person giving positive comments on your efforts. We all need a mental hug sometimes, even if it is from a drunk or a child. Anyway, for myself I can only conclude that being a ‘contemporary artist’ beats digging holes for a living. So, any small purchase would be most gratefully received to save me from getting a

‘proper job’.
